Digital prepress or production workflow knowledge. Basic CAD or layout software familiarity preferred. Quality inspection and proofing practices. Logical reasoning and analytical thinking. Team collaboration and communication skills. Ability to adapt to evolving production technologies. Responsibilities: Review work orders and develop or modify CAD layouts according to customer specifications. Prepare files for production by applying masking, color bars, tick marks, and plate identification details. Verify accuracy of artwork, layout data, and file formatting prior to plate production. Launch digital plate files to imaging equipment and monitor exposure processes. Analyze work orders to determine appropriate press configuration and layout requirements. Enter, store, and retrieve data using computer-aided production systems. Inspect photographic and digital images for imperfections before plate output. Validate layout proofs and combs against production specifications. Perform updates, corrections, and revisions to completed plate files as needed. Maintain organized digital archives and completed work orders. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve layout or production challenges. Why This Job?
